Featuring the first Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game trailer

Well, that was unexpected. The Harry Potter Automated News Aggregator (HPANA) managed to get the very first trailer of Electronic Arts‘ new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix videogame. While you can see the obvious video game allusions here and there, the game does look pretty good.

For instance, Hermione looks as cute as she does in the movies, and Harry’s looking pretty good himself in this trailer. As for what to expect, you’re bound to see the following bits of unrelated weirdness here and there:

1. Alan Rickman’s face.
2. A kissing scene.
3. Marbles.
4. Spell-slinging children on crack.

In any event, this not only gets us anxious for the game, but makes us somewhat pine for the final installment in the series itself. In the meantime, just enjoy the video for now.
