We can’t help but expect retailers to break the street date for a huge release like Final Fantasy XIII, and that’s just what happened in the Netherlands.

 

QJ reader Merijn (thanks!) sent us the pic below showing his early copy of the game’s PS3 version. As our tipster explains, only one store broke the street date at first, but the others had to follow suit to stay competitive.

 

Of course, this is not unexpected nor surprising for a game of this magnitude. Heck, the Xbox 360 version’s already been leaked. Still, I’d say it’s a happy day for Final Fantasy fans in the Netherlands.
