Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 2 coming to PAL regions in February

After announcing a 2008 PAL release for Final Fantasy 1 and 2: 20th Anniversary Edition, Square Enix has finally announced a February release for both PlayStation Portable remakes. Check out the full release date as well as more details about the game at the full article.

Following up on an earlier announcement regarding the PAL release of Final Fantasy 1 and 2: 20th Anniversary Edition, Square Enix has revealed that he PSP remakes of the first two FInal Fantasy games will be released in Europe and all PAL territories on February 8, 2008.

Square Enix president and CEO John Yamamoto had the following comment about Final Fantasy 1 and 2: 20th Anniversary Edition:

Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 2 represent the foundations of the Square Enix success story. They are the first two imaginative steps in the long and distinguished history of the Final Fantasy franchise. With these beautiful new versions, fans can now experience the origins of Final Fantasy wherever they go.
