Final Fantasy III Rumours: ‘Special Edition’ and a New Date for Release
According to Go Nintendo, some very reliable sources are talking of a special edition of Final Fantasy III. Exactly what will be on this special edition is unknown, but the retailers that are reporting this haven’t steered us wrong before! They expect more information on it next week.
On this side of the Pacific, we’ve got sadder news. It looks like GameStop has pushed back the date of release for Final Fantasy III from September 19th to October 3rd. Whether or not that was due to a message from Square Enix is unknown. Hopefully we’ll be hearing some confirmation soon. This move puts it in the fourth quarter of the year – the same quarter in which the Wii and PS3 are set to be released!
