Final Fantasy III Wi-Fi Details Revealed?
Long ago, it was revealed that Final Fantasy III would feature some sort of element that would make use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Today, we have learned what that may be. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems true. Weekly Jump should reveal more info next week.
The Wi-Fi element seems to be letters that you can send to other players. Those who played Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (GCN) might remember receiving letters from family members and then giving replies. It will function like that, but with real live players living around the world. Sending letters back and forth unlocks events within the game. What kind of events they’ll be has not been revealed. Hopefully they’re quests and not just little unlockables like those that were unlocked using The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap‘s (GBA) kinstone system.
