Tetsuya Nomura spoke with Dengeki Online, confirming that the storyline, the characters, and their clothing designs have all been completed. Do remember that in order to get Final Fantasy XIII off the ground, Square Enix had to redirect resources from Versus, which explains why it has been quite a long time.

 

As for any information about characters and the story, they’re not spilling any beans just yet.
