Final Fantasy XI Screens

Along with Ubisoft’s announcement that they will be the publisher for Final Fantasy XI in Europe, a batch of four screenshots have also been released to commemorate such a glorious event. It’s hard to believe that these images are from the Xbox 360 build because they don’t look like they’re from a next-gen game in any respect. The character models are basic, the screens are filled with rough edges, and the textures are bland and dull. For the sake of this game I hope Square Enix has a few more improvements up their sleeve, but if we’re seeing the final quality right now plenty of gamers are going to be sorely disappointed.
