Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess available in PAL regions
Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess has been out on all platforms since November 22 but only for North America. A recent announcement has been made, saying that European gamers, as well as gamers from other PAL territories, can join in on the struggle that is the Crystal War. Square Enix says that copies of Wings of the Goddess (Microsoft Xbox 360, Windows PC) is now available in PAL regions.
Square Enix‘ latest expansion for their cross-platform MMORPG is now available in Europe and other PAL territories, said the company’s recent announcement. Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess (Microsoft Xbox 360, Windows PC) is Square Enix’ fourth expansion to Final Fantasy XI and has been up on North American servers for some time now.
Aside from being approximately parallel in versions to the current American version, the PAL version of Wings of the Goddess will also carry the initial package of features from the standard version:
- New combat features: An all-new “Allied Campaign” system will allow players to take part in large-scale battles and explore new special dungeons
- New areas: New settings further expand the vast world of VanaÂ’diel
- Mog House Guests: Players will be able to invite their friends to their Mog Houses, showing their personalised furniture and special items. It is a new way to talk about past adventures and future plans in an entirely customised setting.
- New jobs: Magically-oriented Dancer and martial, close combat Scholar
- New monsters
Square Enix’ president and CEO, John Yamamoto, concluded the announcement saying, “Wings of the Goddess provides the latest exciting expansion to VanaÂ’diel with a host of features that ensures Final Fantasy XI continues to evolve and entertain.”
