Here’s some bright spot to brighten up that gloomy Final Fantasy XIV spot, thanks to that PS3 delay. Square Enix reveals that the beta test phase of its PC version will be commencing this weekend.

The beta test will launch on Saturday, July 10, 2010, this according to FFXIV‘s official Twitter page. It will be limited, however, to those select testers on the official beta test site.
