Finders keepers: all-new Lost Odyssey screens
At the risk of being hailed as the geekiest blogger ever, I would say that screenshots are highly underestimated by readers and gamers. Seriously, can any of you guys honestly say that you haven’t gone all “meh…it’s just screens” whenever we have a post about new ones? Hmmm? Yeah, didn’t think so.
But see, screenshots can be a good gauge for judging whether a game ranks high on the coolness meter or not, especially for those who put graphics over gameplay. You get a glimpse of how the game will look on your trusty consoles, details on environments and combat system, and tons more. But before we get into the whole graphics vs. gameplay debate yet again (and before I bury myself even deeper in embarrassment by defending screenshots), all we’re really here for today is to bring you a batch of new screens for Mistwalker‘s RPG, Lost Odyssey.
Now, you guys probably already know that Takehiko Inoue (a famous Japanese manga creator) and Kiyoshi Shigematsu (known Japanese novelist) are only two of the powerhouse crew who’ll bring us this much-awaited RPG. And the fact that it’s produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi (the man behind the Final Fantasy series), well, that definitely says a lot.
Too bad though, the one thing that these guys (and the screens) won’t say is the exact date when the game will hit the shelves. Sigh. So anyway, here are the screens, enjoy!
