First Mega Man coming to Japanese PSN

For that, Capcom is paying tribute to the one that started it all – the very first Mega Man from 1987 is coming to 2009 as a downloadable on PSN.

For that, Capcom is paying tribute to the one that started it all – the very first Mega Man from 1987 is coming to 2009 as a downloadable on PSN.
The first Mega Man will come to the Japanese PSN as a re-release of Rockman: Perfect Works, the enhanced port of Rockman 1 from the PSOne era. Yep, it’s Rock, not Mega. All the same, the non-sliding, non-charging, non-upgrading Mega Man (or should I say Rockman) will be providing young gamers with a touch of Gaming 101.
Rockman: Perfect Works will hit the Japanese PSN as a downloadable PSP and PS3 game on August 12th, and will be yours for Â¥ 600 (US$ 6.50). There’s no word on release in other territories, though.
