First Person to Get A Wii for Free on TV

First!! This is the usual comment we get from our readers out there. We like them because that means you care enough to comment. Although this time, we’re the ones writing it because someone got a Wii for free on national live TV! Ben Underwood, future inventor, actor, writer and game designer, received his Wii with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game on Ellen DeGeneres’s show.

What made this guy special enough to get a free Wii? He went blind after being diagnosed with eye cancer, however he gets around now using echolocation. Yes! That’s the same ability as the bats. He uses his tongue to click and listens to how the sound bounces off of different things. If you’ve seen Daredevil: The Movie, you know what we mean. It is that cool. Not only that, he’s an all around positive spirit.

Just a way to remind us that life may put obstacles in our path, it’s up to us on how to get around, over, under, or through it. And for those asking if he can play the game, he can–using his amazing listening skills. We envy you Ben!
