The screens didn’t come with any new info so to sum up what we do know…

  • The game environment will be open like Need for Speed Most Wanted was on the consoles.
  • As always there is an extensive car customization feature allowing you to change the look and performance of your ride but new in this version is that you can change your teams cars and the menu system to reflect you style.
  • Racers will be classified as either Drifters Assassins or Brawlers.
  • The PSP version will have the unique play modes: Crew Tag, Escape, and Delivery.
  • The game will support custom MP3 soundtracks.
  • And just like the console version there’s a new emphasis on team based racing.

And it also looks great. If you want some more info then check out previous coverage of Need for Speed: Carbon.
