First screens, some details on Monster Lab for Wii
French site Wiiz has posted 10 new screenshots of an interesting prospect for the Nintendo Wii game console called Monster Lab. Eidos and Backbone Entertainment are in this one together and so far, all seems to be going well.
Gameplay details haven’t been made all too clear as of yet, but what we do know is that players will custom-build monsters with the help of a scientist that they’ll meet along the way. There are 150 parts to mix and match along with some 300 items to boost your beast. Whether it will be done as an RPG or more like a simulation remains to be disclosed.
The developers say that the game is best described as “Pokemon meets Tim Burton,” so we can expect a dash of dark comedy to go along with the quirky play. We’ll inform you as soon as we get new info on Monster Lab.
