First screenshots of PoP: The Two Thrones for Wii
And so, a mere few days after the confirmation of a Prince of Persia game for the Wii, we now manage to catch a glimpse of the first few screenshots which have been released for the game.
Set for release in March of 2007, these screens from the port of the popular Ubisoft title, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, give everyone an idea of how gameplay would be once the Wiimote and the Nunchuck attachments is incorporated.
Apparently, one of the common movements that would be required by the game would be a downward slashing motion with the Wiimote, which then allows the Prince to slash or, in the case of his alter ego, to wield his whip. The buttons and the analog stick on the nunchuck then trigger stealth kills. We, however, are still wondering just how exactly the controls would work for the Prince’s wallruns and other death-defying stunts.
Another question would be this: Are the developers REALLY not planning to put in anything new in this port? I guess we’ll all find out by March.
