First time buyers get Alan Wake DLC #1 free

If you’re a first time buyer of Alan Wake, there’s something free waiting for you. Remedy Interactive is offering the first DLC for the much-awaited suspense action title absolutely free.

If you’re a first time buyer of Alan Wake, there’s something free waiting for you. Remedy Interactive is offering the first DLC for the much-awaited suspense action title absolutely free.

Matias Myllyrinne of Remedy made the announcement via Twitter: “Our first Alan Wake Special (downloadable content) will be free for first time buyers.”

Later updates from Microsoft revealed that those who buy the game brand new will be receiving a token included in the package, which in turn will allow you to get the content for free once it is released.

No word yet as to what that first DLC would be, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on it.
