First UMPC Ready For Pre-Order

The v7110 TabletKiosk, the first UMPC device in its product range, is now ready for pre-order.

Unlike other similar products elsewhere, this US company already has a price tag on the item and is taking pre-orders ready to ship in the last week April.

The basic $899 version runs Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 with Touch Pakon on an 1.0 GHz VIA C7M NaNo processor. It is equipped with a 7-inch color 800 x 480 pixels TFT screen, integarted Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) wireless networking, and a pair of USB 2.0 ports.

The basic model comes with 256 MB RAM and a 30 GB HDD onboard. The eo v7110 measures 8.98 x 5.75 x 0.98 inches. The standard 2200mAh battery allows up to 2.5 working hours (4 hours with optional extended battery).
