First WiFi Function For Final Fantasy III DS Emerges

New FF3

Japanese magazine Jump published in their latest issue a segment on Final Fantasy III for DS, which seems to have unveiled one of the game’s WiFi features.  Players will be able to send mail to each other (both players will need a copy of the game) and will be able to reply back.  The mail system may or may not play an integral role in FF3‘s gameplay, but they did mention that the mail system would “trigger some sort of special events that take place within the game“.  So far this seems to be the only WiFi feature in the game that we know of, but stay tuned as we find out more!

Final Fantasy III is slated for release on Nintendo DS this month in Japan and arriving later this year in Europe and America.
