First Wii Paper Adverts?

Our week won’t be complete without some Wii rumors. It seems the Germans are getting some Wii paper advertisements in trickles. The yet-to-be-confirmed ads were found in a German gaming magazine Games Aktuell, a Canadian film festival program, and from an unnamed source.

Looking at the scanned photos, it’s hard to tell if they are real or fake, but the ad design looks rather shoddy to me, the German wording (as pointed out by German speakers) is a bit iffy, and the English tagline “playing=believing” in a German ad doesn’t appear to be a slip-up a company of Ninty’s caliber might make. Or could it be intentional?

You can scrutinize the photos all you want, and perhaps some of you can even verify if these ads are for real – or not. What do you folks think?
