Five new Rock Band screenshots

The last time we heard about Harmonix‘s Rock Band for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, we were introduced to the various game modes we’ll be able to play in the game, as well as the different instruments available for us to rock out on.

Now, here are some burning hot screenshots of the title in action that’s sure to get any armchair rockstar partying long and partying hard. Looking at the screens, there’s certainly a lot going on, with one track each for the Bass, the Lead Guitar and the drums, as well as the song’s actual lyrics over head.

One good thing about this is that this really gets everyone playing and rocking out at the same time, rather than just having one track on the screen and the different instruments taking turns in playing their pieces.

It’s also good that you’ll be able to see your band performing onscreen as well – here’s hoping that it turns out just like Guitar Hero‘s in-game band meter, where you can keep track of just how good your band’s performing by the way the crowd reacts.
