Five years of Camelot grab bags: here’s another!

FIVE YEARS!It’s been five years since the weekly Dark Age of Camelot grab bag started. Each week, Sanya Thomas and her band of merry men have helped lost denizens of the Dark Age in their quest for understanding and increased stealth proficiency. Well, why not one more grab bag, eh?

One of the recent occurrences in the game has been the introduction of Akatsuki server and its playerbase into the Devon cluster. Sanya Thomas explains in this week’s grab bag that one of the the side-effects of this introduction is that everyone on the Devon cluster has to go reassign their quick-entry logins. She also mentions that bugs might be in the system, so gamers will have to be somewhat more cautious for a little while.

In other grab bag news, Sanya also discusses skills and weapons. She talks about how the stealth skill really functions, explaining that your stealth value is constantly checked by the game, so placing enchants for stealth enhancement on throwaway items to get a high stealth at the start will quickly disappear if you remove your enchanted items. She also mentions that tradeskills will be changed somewhat in the future, allowing everyone to become the tradesman they feel like becoming. People who have the patience for the next patch may very well see themselves being anything they want to be.

Lastly, she also discusses some of the quirks with certain items, and how they’ll be affected by the next patch. Specifically, players can expect an upgrade on their items to keep them within the specifications of awesomeness they were originally ascribed to.

In any case, if you’re looking for more details, feel free to check the read link below, and congratulations to Mythic Entertainment on five years of DAoC grab bag helpfulness!
