Electronic Arts' NFS studio may have experienced some massive lay offs, but that doesn't mean it's the end of the NFS era. A brand new Need for Speed: Undercover title will in fact be racing to the iPhone and iPod Touch soon, thanks to EA Mobile.
Craig Law, who manages EA Mobile's Twitter account, revealed this on his latest Tweet:
Meanwhile, before you start your lemonade stand, start your engines... [NFS: Undercover] is on the way VERY soon
And from what we could gather, "VERY soon" could be in fact within the next few weeks. Though the game was hit with a delay (originally scheduled for 2008), Craig Law mentioned in the EA forums that NFS will be released pre-3.0, sometime before summer.
