Folklore Create-a-Creature contest winning Folk now available from PSN
Another free add-on pack is now available for Sony PlayStation 3 owners who grabbed a copy of Game Republic‘s Folklore. Folklore Create-a-Creature contest winner Udiricy’s creation, the Folk Quasarilli, can now join your ranks. More details at the full article.
Game Republic was serious when it promised to make an actual Folk, a magical creature in the Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive Folklore, out of the lucky victor’s entry in the Folklore Create-a-Creature Contest. Contestant Uridicy’s thieving Quasarilli which was crowned back in late September is finally available for download in form of the latest free Folklore add-on pack from the U.S. PlayStation Network.
The images you see below are apparently actual screenshots in which the female protagonist Ellen encounter Quasarilli. When acquired, this cute critter can steal items from enemies for you.
Udiricy shared a few words, saying, “Art and games have always been a hobby of mine and as an aspiring game artist it is very exciting for me to see a professional 3D model of my creature Quasarilli.”
Udiricy also praised Folklore for having a “unique darker fantasy feeling than the typical fantasy-RPG.” Quasarilli’s creator also enjoyed Ellen and her mom’s story, which could very well be the source of inspiration that led to the creation of a cool Folk. The free add-on pack from PSN is now up for grabs, so you might want to try it out.
