Folklore spotted on Japanese TV; release date confirmed
The video clip below is a Japanese TV advertisement for upcoming video game Folklore. We sincerely don’t understand what the three dudes are talking about but judging from their movements, we believe that the spot is alluding to the title’s rather unique gameplay: capturing the weakened souls of the monsters known as Folks.
Anyway, various sources in the past have cited that Folklore should be available this coming June 21 and the video clip confirms just that. Also, we learned that the game will be priced for 5,980 Yen or roughly around US$ 49.27. A demo for Folklore has been scheduled to appear on PlayStation Network (PSN) Japan before May ended.
Folklore is actually a spin-off of the Monster Kingdom universe and is consistent in terms of mechanics with the previous games. It was developed by Game Republic.
