Folklore’s create a creature contest: winner will be featured as downloadable
There’s a monster under my bed, in my closet, in my head. Well if you have a monster lurking in the shadows of your skull right now, here’s the time to let it out. The upcoming Game Republic game on the PS3, Folklore, is holding a creature contest where the winner’s “Folk,” (that’s what the creatures in the game are called,) will be featured as a downloadable.
Here’s what you need to be able to enter:
- Create a Folk illustration
- Write down a description of your Folk’s abilities
- Describe how your Folk’s abilities can be used after it’s been captured
Four runners-up will receive a copy of Folklore, and a limited edition “World of Folklore” art book. The winner’s creature will be fleshed out in full 3D and given a spot as one of the game’s Folks. Don’t get too attached to your creature though: if you win, you’re going to have to fight it in the game.
Folklore will be out for the PS3 this October 2 for North America and October 10 for Europe. In the meanwhile, here’s some great Folks the folks at Folklore have provided as reference and inspiration for your own creature. Along with the illustrations are a description of their abilities and what abilities the players will acquire when they capture them:
