Fonix VoiceIn to be used in X360 game, press release forgets to tell what game.

The CompanyIf you go to fonix.com you’ll be able to find a particularly interesting press release.

Apparently Fonix Speech, Inc, is particularly proud that their voice recognition tool is to be used in a new Xbox 360 game.

Here’s what it says:

Fonix Speech, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fonix Corporation (OTC BB: FNIX) specializing in embedded speech interfaces for mobile devices, handheld electronic products, video game systems and processors, announces the first-ever video game for the Xbox 360™ gaming console to feature Fonix VoiceIn® Game Edition, Fonix’s award-winning voice recognition tool for video games.

Now this would’ve been really cool, but the thing is, the whole press release neglects to tell the world WHAT GAME the voice recognition tool will be used in. So much for “announces the first-ever video game” …ergh. Good thing we already know that their voice recognition tech was integrated with the Unreal 3, so it’s probably safe to say they’re proud about a certain hot ultra-violent holiday-season chart-topper.

Not really news, but we’re posting this just in case laughing at other people’s failure brightens your day. The news-y bit here? Well some Xbox 360 game will have voice recognition… so ooooh you better watch out for that. Think we’re BS-ing you? Click the read-link below. Yeah, this is “troll the press-releases” day.
