Forza Motorsport 2 Won’t Make It This Christmas

FlatSeems like Forza Motorsport 2 is suffering a flat tire as it won’t be available on its previously announced released date of Holiday 2006. At the Games Convention at Leipzig, much to the shock and surprise of those present, Holiday 2006 became Winter. This move raised suspicions that the game has slipped to 2007.

Just as we thought it couldn’t get any worse, Chris Lewis of Xbox Europe, mentioned that the game will definitely be released during Microsoft‘s current financial year window that runs until June 30, 2007.

“I think we’ve always said that it will appear in our financial year – and in our financial year I can guarantee you that game will appear. I can’t be specific right now in terms of the actual dates for Forza, but certainly it will be an integral game that appears during our financial year ’07 which is the one we’re in now,” says Lewis. We can hear all of you saying “It better.”

Analysts say that Microsoft‘s lack of a first party triple-A racing title on the Holidays will definitely be a blow to the computer giant. Another point that was raised was the game tagged as the perfect partner for Wireless Racing Wheel peripheral, that comes in a $149.99 USD.
