Four DS titles to be Square Enix Ultimate Hits in Japan
Following the success of four of their DS releases, Square Enix is now ready to toss them into their budget-priced Ultimate Hits line in Japan. For the Japanese, fantastic news. For the rest of us, not so much. Find out why.

On March 4th, 2009, the Japanese will be able to get Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest IX, and Final Fantasy IV for the Ultimate Hits price of ¥2,940 (US$ 32). Good for them.
Unfortunately for us, the regular Dragon Quest IX hasn’t even been released in the US. It’s due 2010 but no announcement has been made to confirm exactly when. And so, while the Japanese gain access to a cheaper version, everyone else will have to pay full price.
