Four Gods Return to Everquest II

Well okay, actually there are eight gods who will be returning to Everquest II, but for the sake of suspense, we’ll only give you four. So yeah, you’d have to check back with us to see the other four. Haha.

bsBrell Serillis: The Duke of Below
Alignment: Neutral
Portfolio: Smiths & Earth

Veeshan hates him, but he’s buddies with Fizzlethorpe Bristlebane. Supposedly the father of the Runny Eye goblins but the Kaladim dwarves beg to differ, saying that they are the only true children of Serillis. Meanwhile, the gnolls of Split Paw also claim to be the true descendants of Serillis because they were sculpted out of the Clay of Cosgrove by no less than Brell himself. Hmm…lots of paternal issues going on here. Needless to say, Brell’s followers are found virtually anywhere in the Underfoot of Norrath.

innoruukInnoruuk: The Prince of Hate

Alignment: Evil

Portfolio: Hate & Strife

A friend to Rallos Zek and Cazic-Thule but enemy to Quellious, Mithaniel Marr, and Erollisi Marr, Innoruuk is the spiteful (we would ordinarily say ‘loving’ but this is a different case) “Father” to the whole dark race of elves. Innoruuk and his followers do NOT believe in love and kindness, but rather that hatred is THE creative force born of destruction. Innoruuk’s followers comply by the dogma that with total hatred comes the potential for the destruction of Norrath. The old saying “the more you hate, the more you love” definitely does NOT apply in this case.

cazicCazic-Thule: The Faceless

Alignment: Evil

Portfolio: Fear

Like Innoruuk, he’s also friends with Rallos Zek and an enemy of Mithaniel and Erollisi Marr. While Innoruuk advocates hate, Cazic-Thule induces fear among his followers (Cazicites), who in turn believe that they should cause terror, pain, misery, torture and violence to others so they may be spared of Cazic-Thule’s wrath. The lizardman tribes are the known Cazicites but his humanoid followers are also growing enormously. The Cazicites’ goal is to envelop Norrath in horror and pain and eliminate whatever bright spots that may be left.

rallosRallos Zek: The Warlord

Alignment: Evil

Portfolio: War

Rallos Zek, as already mentioned, is friends with Innoruuk and Cazic-Thule, and despises Quellious and Bertoxxulous. If Cazicites believe in Fear, and Innoruuk’s followers just love to hate everyone, Rallos Zek’s followers believe in fundamentalist Darwinism; only the strong survive, thus, the weak should be put to death. Almost all of Zek followers are warriors who are addicted to strength, courage, and most of all, victory. They have zero respect for the dead because, well, if you’re worthy to be respected, you wouldn’t be dead in the first place, as only the victors are worthy of living.

There you have it, the first half of our coverage of the gods returning to Everquest II. Don’t forget to keep checking our website for the other half, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the other four now, would you?
