Fourth Creation Entry: PSPTris
Another Fourth Creation entry! It seems that many developers want to win that PSP and of course the coveted bragging rights that comes with being the winner of PS2Dev‘s Fourth Creation 2006. Now, we focus on the PSPTris and its additional twists. This was the entry of oobles and aside from being able to play the classic kind of Tetris that we have grown to love and cherish, now you could also play two other games – color and original. Color is of course something you already know. In this game, you have to match 2 or more balls in the same color.
Basically you’d have to use the d-pad to navigate your way then if you see the matching balls of the same color, you just have to press X. Pretty simple, although there are times that I got confused playing with it (must be the pressure I guess, ha ha!), but it’s pretty good. It’s a game that you could play if you have too much idle time in your hands. I myself was tempted to keep on playing it.
The original part of the PSPTris is something that is challenging. The game is just the same as the classic Tetris, but the only problem is you’d have to play it with the screen rotated 90 degrees. It’s quite challenging to move the blocks around and put them in their right place when you’re playing like that. But nonetheless, it’s still fun, I finished playing it without a headache or anything of that sort.
You could give it a try so as to have your own feel of the game. Personally, I liked it.
