Free Texas Hold ‘Em at the Marketplace
Microsoft was found bluffing today about its statement regarding the availability of Texas Holde ‘Em. Original reports were that the game was free to download and play at the Xbox 360. ‘Twas denied the following week.
This morning, the poker game arrived on the xbox 360 Marketplace one hour after midnight. And what do you know? The original reports were correct: Texas Hold ‘Em is downloadable at no charge!
But before we rejoice so much, Microsoft issued a little reminder though. The free game will not stay free, at least for the first 48 hours. Starting 1 a.m. of Friday, users will be charged at 800 points ($10) a pop to download the game.
