From PSP to PS controller with the Vis-a-Vis hand grip pad
For some people, it’s all about the grip. Whether it’s about getting grip on reality or getting a literal, solid grip on their Sony PSP, it helps to have someone or something to help them do just that.
In the latter case, there’s always Vis-a-Vis Flexible Hand Grip Pad Advance-2000 – an accessory designed to transform the PSP Slim into a familiar-looking controller. More “gripping” facts after the jump.
Grips seem to be the in thing these days, at least for certain people, and understandably so. No one likes to have their PSP slip out of their hands in the middle of a heated gaming session. While Capcom introduced the the Monster Hunter Grip peripheral last time, Vis-a-Vis has its own grip on the situation with the Flexible Hand Grip Pad Advance for the Sony PSP Slim & Lite.
As you can see from the picture above, the peripheral allows PSP Slim owners to experience the feel of the classic PlayStation controller while playing. For those who own the bulkier Sony PSP, on the other hand, Vis-a-Vis also has a similar peripheral for them, as indicated in the picture on the right above.
Which brings us to one-important question: how much? Each version of Vis-a-Vis’ Flexible Hand Grip Pad costs 980 yen (approximately US$ 9).
