Front Mission 1st: First screenshots

We told you in an earlier article that Square Enix has sent the Front Mission 1st demo to TGS, and that most of us were left hoping that the game will make its way to US shores because the demo showed the game’s menu options and weapon names in English. But this still hasn’t been confirmed so basically we’re still…hoping.

But what we do have are the first screenshots of Front Mission 1st for the DS, and based on what we see, it’s looking good. Square Enix must really we working on updating the game’s graphics for the DS, which will be a remake of the 1995 SNES classic under the same title. The game is said to be slated for a Japanese release this winter, but still no announcements yet as to whether it will make its way to North America. So while waiting for more updates on the game, why don’t cha enjoy these screenshots we have for you. Rest assured we’ll keep you posted for any developments.
