Front Mission Evolved’s single-player mode is ten hours long

Since they fall right in the middle of the strategy genre, most previous Front Mission games usually gave gamers around 30 or so hours of gameplay. Front Mission Evolved‘s single-player campaign is only a fraction of that.

According to the game’s Japanese FAQ, the single-player campaign clocks in at just a little more than ten hours. Definitely not a good thing for those used to the older games’ length.

 

Fortunately, there’s a multiplayer mode which includes deathmatch, team deathmatch, and domination modes handled through Steam instead of GFWL. The PC version also sports stereoscopic 3D if you have a card that supports Nvidia 3D Vision.

 

Front Mission Evolved comes out in North America on September 14, two days before the Japanese release.
