A new patch for the PC version Frontlines: Fuel of War (also available on the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) should be coming some time this week according to a post from the Kaos Studios developers.
It was also revealed that patch 1.03 is already in the works and that both patches should fix quite a number of problems in the game.
According to Kaos Lead Designer Frank DeLise, patch 1.02 should fix problems such as not being able to join some servers, filters not working properly, player count sorting and more. In addition, a new dedicated server build and a frontend host to allow server hosting without CD keys will also be launched alongside patch 1.02.
Patch 1.03, on the other hand, will be a bigger update and will include an overhaul to the server browser to fix the majority of the complaints fans of the game have fielded. Hopefully, both patches should be enough to fix the major problems in Frontlines: Fuel of War and make playing online a more enjoyable experience.
