December 22, 2005 – Those of you who thrive on explosions, chainguns, and high speed racing should mark February 14, 2006 on your calendars, since that’s when Sega’s Full Auto is set to officially ship to stores. Those who preorder the game from retailers will be eligible for a few special offers, which you can check here. Believe it or not, a demo level of Full Auto is available on newsstands right now if you purchase the January issue of Official Xbox Magazine.
For those unaware, Full Auto is a vehicular combat game with a heavy concentration on blowing the crap out of absolutely everything. You’ll get access to overpowered weapons like rocket launchers and hood-mounted shotguns and have the convenience of an unlimited supply of ammo. Taking out opponents and flying over jumps results in fancy Burnout-style cutscenes that add extra flair to the gameplay as well as increase your boost meter.
If you happen to get shredded by an opponent’s fire or otherwise destroyed, you can always implement the Unwreck feature that zips time backwards to before you got disintegrated. Add in some quick, slick graphics and tons of destructible content littering the tracks and you’ll find Full Auto delivers an intense experience, and will also feature support for up to 8 players over Xbox live.
