Funcom to make a showing at DragonCon 2008
Funcom has announced that it’ll be making its presence known at the upcoming DragonCon 2008. They’ll be doing more than hosting a booth though; they’ve got a big event planned, as well as game presentations and item giveaways to boot! Learn more after the jump!
Funcom has announced that it’ll be making its presence known at the upcoming DragonCon 2008. They’ll be doing more than hosting a booth though; they’ve got a big event planned, as well as game presentations and item giveaways to boot!
Here are Funcom’s booths hours for DragonCon, as well as the schedule for the convention:
Funcom Booth hours:
- Friday 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m
- Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Monday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Event Schedule
Friday – FunCon Event
This yearÂ’s event is one not to miss as everyone is invited to join us Friday at 10pm at the Sheraton Capital Ballroom! We will have several ballrooms adjoined together with the best in lighting and sound as DJ Tarryk will be spinning the musical entertainment for the night. Along with the entertainment we will also have many Funcom attendees from Age of Conan, Anarchy Onlineand The Secret World dropping by throughout the night to help make this FunCon one to remember!
Saturday – Game Presentations
- 7 – 8pm : Sheraton Capital Ballroom (Age of Conan Presentation)
- 10 – 11am : Sheraton Athens Room (Anarchy Presentation)
FunCom will also be offering prizes during the con, which range from posters and lanyards to custom PC cases. One big winner, however, will take home a specially customized Anarchy Online PC.
