Funny: Wii ad in PS3 site

“Hello, you have arrived at the Playstation 3 Resource Centre, the essential destination for the latest PS3 news, system details, information, games, cheats, screenshots, videos, pics, forums and more!“ – so says the welcome greeting over at the PS3 resource center site. What’s so noteworthy about this? Nothing really, it’s just that it seems that they’re really living up to the “and more” part ‘coz guess what’s right beside this welcome statement? None other than a Wii ad.

Kinda makes you think whether Sony is playing mind games with us and the Wii lovers, OR, they just really needed ad sponsors. Alright, to clue you in on what we’re talking about, here’s the picture of the ad found on the PS3 resource center site:

We’re not trying to spark any form of Sony-Nintendo animosity in posting this; in fact, the posting of this ad on the site is quite commendable. What a way to end the console wars and the endless bickering over which one’s better, eh? It’s quite funny but at the same time, it’s good to see that Sony seems to be up for a friendly console competition, despite all the negative publicity they got with the PS3’s delay.
