Game Dumper by Team PI
Wow, that was quick. A game dumper for the Xbox 360 has been released by a team who calls themselves PI, just weeks after the Xbox 360 was released. It actually took a few months for one to be released for PSP games after the PSP’s release. These utilities basically allow hackers to “dump” the contents of the Xbox 360 game disk, so that they can browse the files and learn more about how they work with the console. This is good and bad. It’s great for the information-sponging-hardcore-hacker types who are doing it for the knowledge and fun, but bad because it is the first small step for creating pirated games. Creating them is one thing. Getting them to load? That’s where Microsoft comes in and puts the boot down.
