Game Informer’s September issue reveals Borderlands, Gearbox’s new sci-fi shooter
The cover of the new issue of Game Informer has revealed Gearbox Software‘s upcoming multiplatform sci-fi shooter called Borderlands. You can check out the cover on the right.
The magazine will reportedly give a first look at the details of the game which, according to Game Informer, is some kind of “Diablo meets Mad Max” title. Borderlands will also feature a something that online addicts will find interesting: full-on four player online co-op. The game will also have RPG elements, so players can probably get skill upgrades and the like.
Borderlands seems to share some similarities with id software‘s recently-announced FPS title, Rage, which is also set in a post-apocalyptic world. More details will have to wait until the mag hits, so keep checking back here for updates.
