GameStop gets a taste of heaven with Burnout Paradise
Let’s roll from something vengeful to something more heavenly. Yup, now we won’t only have Burnout Revenge on our Xbox 360, we’ll also be having Burnout Paradise as well.
Also coming from Criterion Games, Burnout Paradise will be coming out to the U.S. on September this year, both for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and we’ll be sure to give you some more funky racing action. From what we know so far, it looks like cars will be made available for download from retail Xbox 360 kiosks, like what they did with Burnout Revenge. We still don’t have any specifics on that one, though, so we suggest you keep your eyes peeled for more info on that bit.
But apart from that, it also appears that GameStop is having a special kind of participation in the video game’s promotion, as it will have its own pre-order exclusive and GameStop car in-game. The pre-order exclusive car is Steel Wheels, and you may make it your own through an email code or a GameStop card as soon as you pre-order the game.
Interesting, indeed. So if you want to find out more about Burnout Paradise, you better keep it locked here. In the meantime, check out these screenshots (some screenshots taken from Jeux-France).
Check out some more screenshots as well as the box arts for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 after the jump!
