GAP fishes for TV spot endings

With all the hullabaloo of making the most of their investment, Sony is likewise making continental shifts in their marketing campaigns – more specifically, in their TV spots. And they’re asking some Gamer Advisory Panel (GAP) members about what direction they could go for their future PSP ads.

They sent out surveys asking how people would want PSP ads to end. There were three options to choose from: two of which had generic techno voices, and the other was a bit more different in the sense that it followed the Japanese ads of “Purey-Stey-shun Por-tah-bor” female voice-overs.

GAP has already closed the voting submissions and are tallying the results. Maybe this survey will help them come up with new ads which are going to be timely, especially now with the dawning of the PS3. Naturally, if they’re expecting PSP sales come the holidays, they can’t just ignore the PSP while their marketing is all gung-ho for the PS3. Let’s hope that, soon enough, new PSP TV spots crop up like (for lack of a better simile) mushrooms after an April shower.
