Rockstar Games, makers behind Grand Theft Auto IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360), have announced that they’ll be at Leipzig for 2007’s Game Convention. While specifics of their current game line up are very scarce, the developer did hint that Midnight Club: Los Angeles (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and a Wii version of Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis (already on Xbox 360) will be presented at the event.

Yes, readers, you read that right: there was no particular mention of Grand Theft Auto IV. If you can remember, the game was reviewed hands-on by Take-Two Interactive executives, and it just couldn’t make the publisher’s grade. While some may bet that the title may be presented to some degree at the Leipzig Convention, the fact that it’s being reworked briskly to arrive by Q1 of 2008 are tough odds to stand against.

Still, Rockstar Games now adds to a large collection of companies prepping up for the European-centric game trade show starting next week, August 23, 2007. More pre-Games Convention news as we pick them up. Stay tuned.
