GC: Metal Gear Solid producer wants to put rumble in MGS4

Metal Gear Solid fans who want rumble in MGS4, you’re not alone: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots‘ producer Kenichiro Imaizumi has expressed his wish to implement rumble functions into Metal Gear Solid 4 in the recent Leipzig Games Convention, and it sounds like Kojima Productions want the rumble controller functions badly.

“We wish we could have rumble, but for now we don’t have those features for the PS3 controller,” Imaizumi said. However, his statement ends with a more positive note. “But we wish we could. Let’s see what’s going to happen, you know?”

Director Hideo Kojima gave one of the reasons why they want to get controllers rumbling: the man in charge of rumbling controller features at Kojima Productions is left with nothing to do on the MGS4 project.

We wish that the rumble guy will eventually have something to do in the near future (related to rumbling controllers). Because when that happens, it’s possible that PlayStation 3 owners will rejoice.
