GDAA awards developers: Puzzle Quest II sweeps awards
At the conclusion of Game Connect: Asia Pacific, the Game Developer’s Association of Australia awarded the best game developers from Australia and New Zealand.
As Medieval II took home the most awards last year, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (DS, PSP) swept up this year’s awards with five awards, including Best Game.
At the conclusion of Game Connect: Asia Pacific, the Game Developer’s Association of Australia awarded the best game developers from Australia and New Zealand. Eligibility for the awards is simple: the game had to be developed by Australians or New Zealanders.

- Best Game – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
- Best New Startup (Adam Lancman Award) – Redtribe
- Special Commendation: Acheron Design
- Best Console Title – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
- Best PC Title – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
- Special Commendation: Fury (Auran)
- Best Handheld Title – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
- Best Mobile Title – The Fast & the Furious: Fugitive 3D (Firemint)
- Best Gameplay – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
- Best Graphics – Viva Piñata: Party Animals (Krome Studios)
- Best Audio – Viva Piñata: Party Animals (Krome Studios)
