Nintendo of America sent QJ.NET a press release confirming the U.S. release dates of the games download service WiiWare and fitness title Wii Fit. It was learned yesterday that the two will be launched on May 12 and May 19 respectively.
Aside from that, Nintendo also highlighted several promising titles that will be gracing the service. These includes Frontier Development‘s LostWinds, TellTale Games‘ new episodic game series.
Quite curiously, while highlighting the fact that Square Enix will also be releasing games on WiiWare, NoA has described the legendary company as the developer of the game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King.
That little tidbit confirms the name the game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised Land will carry as it arrives in North American shores. Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, said:
We are excited to participate in the Game Developers Conference this year to share with developers and consumers alike our upcoming unique services and products.
Lastly, NoA also reminded every fan that the much-awaited Super Smash Bros. Brawl will finally be available in the region come March 9. The early part of 2008, we have to say, is really looking solid for Nintendo. Keep checking QJ.NET for more updates.
