GDC 08: Pangya for PSP details surfaces, English version probable - Image 1It was late last year when we all learned that developer NTreev Soft is working on a PSP version of the hit MMORPG-based game Pangya.

More details were revealed today as representatives from the studio were at attendance in GDC 2008. According to those who were able to try the game, Pangya for PSP feels a lot like Hot Shots Golf.

What you need to do is press a button and then a blue line will move from the right tip of the power meter down to a spot near the end. You must press the button again as close as possible to the said spot for the best shot and a “Pangya!” remark will appear on the HUD.

Prior to all games, there will be some sort of dialogue exchange that will happen between players. Speaking of which, Ntreev Soft has mentioned that they are trying to bring all characters from seasons one to four of the original Pangya game to the PSP build.

About distribution matters, the developer said that SK Telecom will publish the game in Korea. When pressed about an English version, the developer simply said “probably.” Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more information on this game.
