GDC 09: Bungie on Halo 3 content: it ain’t over till it’s over
It ain’t over till it’s over. Two years after the release of the Xbox 360 blockbuster Halo 3, Bungie Software isn’t done working on it. Allan Murray said at the ongoing GDC, “Halo 3 took two and half years to make, and we’re still working on it.” And it appears that by the time they do finish with the game, you’d have earned yourself a full college degree already.

And it appears that by the time they do finish with the game, you’d have earned yourself a full college degree already, cos if his timeline is right, “We’ll probably be working on it for two more years.” So whatever happened to that ODST is the “final exclamation point” for the game bit?
But Halo 3 is not the only thing keeping them busy as of late. There’s also another project that they’re tweaking with, but they remain mum as to what this non-Halo IP is. “We’re working on multiple projects right now.” Glad to hear they’re not exerting their efforts all in on project. Would have been a waste for a great dev company like them otherwise.
