Electronics Arts has joined the iPhone wagon, promising to deliver games from some of its biggest franchises, not least of which is Red Alert.
At GDC, a number of other games were announced for the platform, including their snowboarding title, SSX, as well as FIFA 10, Madden 10, NBA Live, American Idol, The Sims, and Need for Speed. With the number of titles EA has under its belt, I’m surprised there aren’t more. I’d like a mini-Mirror’s Edge game myself.
Travis Boatman, VP of worldwide mobile studios at EA Mobile, also demonstrated a live, playable version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone at GDC. All these games are due out on 2009.
