Gears of War Faceplate Contest Now On
Gears of War faceplates for the X360 are highly collectible at the moment. As we reported back in May, the E3 special edition faceplates were going for between $30 and $160 on auction site eBay. Now, the cheapest Gears of War faceplate on eBay is going for $50, and still has 4 days left! The buyer could end up paying the bitter end of $200 for the faceplate, but isn’t this a bit extreme?
Well, if you don’t have $’s oozing out of your pockets but would like to get your hands on a limited edition Gears of War faceplate, here’s your chance. Gears of War Realm is hosting a competition in which you could win a Gears of War faceplate by entering their competition. Hold on a second though, there’s a few steps you need to go through in order to be eligible for the competition:
- Visit the Realm Media Networks Forums.
- If you don’t have an account with the Realm Media forums yet, register for one a new account.
- Once a day, put a single reply in this thread with something that excites you about the upcoming game Gears of War. If you are stuck, visit the QJ.net Gears of War category for inspiration. Please try to be original, the judges would like to see some good meaningful posts.
Each post per day will count as one competition entry, and posting multiple entries per day or creating multiple accounts will result in you being banned from this contest. Only one entry per household/computer/email account is allowed. The competition closes on July 11th 2006 at 11:59PM, when the next phase of the contest will then be revealed.
